    I'm working out if I can fit the drive train (i.e. centre dif), engine and auto box from a 3rd gen into a 2nd gen?

    If it might work, I will start looking for a 3rd gen that's breaking and have a go????

      but why go to all that trouble,just fit the 2nd gen body onto the 3rd gen chassis.job done.

                    not sure ive never seen a 3rd gen chassis,but it cant be that difficult.its only metal.or are the 3rd gen chassis made of plastic too.
