Thanks guys, wheels came with truck, I've seen them on early Pajero's, but I like them, they really need a refurb.

A-bar also came with, the only things I've done to t so far is new rear springs ( +20%), ES 9000 shocks all round, new steering damper and the tyres.

Funds don't allow anything else at the moment.

You can see various other photo's taken this weekend by selecting " Plumb bobs public gallery"

Best way to view is the slide show.

Thanks for all the nice comments, check out the pics of the bathroom I recently completed for a client, there's about £20,000 worth of marble in there, and they paid about £7000 for the bathroom suite.

How the other half live, eh?

The guy was moaning about havimg to pay £300 road tax on his BENTLY!

and another £300 on his brand new V8 supercharged Range Rover, and the fact that due to having 9 points on his liecence, he had to sell his top of te range Ferrari, and his Aston Martin!

                    What a shame!

No,unfortunately not( I don't think I would have the patience) and it's not tiling, its 20mm thick cut and polished marble (stone)slabs, with a 1mm grout line. Precision stuff, it was put up by a marble and stone specialist of my acquaintance, and they get about 1-2 square meters done a day!

The shower tray is milled out of a single slab of marble, and a 20mm thick slab of slate is bonded to the underside for added strength, it took three men to lift it in place.

I takes time, and everything is absolutely flat, upright and level, regardless of the condition of the walls and floor.

The floor is marble too, and had to be strengthened with steel plates, lag bolted either side of each joist to prevent flex.

All the wiring and plumbing had to be re-routed to accommodate the steel.

The bath fills from a fitment in the ceiling, if you look close you can see it in one of the pics, and the basin filler is in the mirror.

The plumbing side of things was enough to be thinking and worrying about, and I'm a great believer in "each man to his own trade"

Thanks, I just got a new DSLR so I'm a bit snap happy at the mo, really embracing the technology.

I've taken 2500 pictures in 10 days, although 90% get binned as mostly I photograpgh moving objects, which is why I decided to go digital.

If I had been using film, it would have cost me £400.00 in developing costs alone by now, although if using film I probably wouldn't have shot so many coz cost would always be in the back of my mind.

Anyway, get some pics posted up soon ( of truck and horses) maybe we should get the admin to set up a photo of the week competition for the summer and see how it runs??
