  • frickin' new laptop!

    when i try to watch video on "youtube" i get this message -
    "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player. "
    i have flash player installed, but dunno how to turn on javascript???

    any ideas??

    Is there a bar in yellow at the top of the ie page try right clicking on it and it might offer an install option! if not visit sunjava.com i think.

      Top of page, click on 'Tools'
      Click on 'internet options'
      Click on 'Advanced'

      Scroll down 'till you see Java (sun) or multimedia and tick the relevent boxes.



      Or maybe you have a pop-up blocker switched on preventing downloads.

          downloaded macromedia flash player, java and enabled in tools menu...

                  go to help and then about internet explorer this will give you the version you are using. might be worth removing ie7 and re installing it just incase there is a problem with it.
