Beware of scammers on ebay

I went to see a work mate earlier and he said that my surf was on ebay about 4 weeks ago.I said you must be mistaken and he says that he was drawn to my reg.number which mine is the only black 3l tinted windows and lifted with 31"tyres fitted around this area but has never been off road so he stated on ebay and with a reg no.ending swr.
My mate even drove pass my place he said and double checked my reg to make sure and he went back to work and said that i must be feeling bad if i am getting rid of the surf.I just couldn't and still cant believe it.
So just be aware of anyone looking around your motor

i haven't seen anyone from work for weeks and it was only cause i had to drop a letter round to him that he told me.He thought cause of my hip i was selling it and never thought anything about it untill he saw me pull up in mine
