    What do I do?

I've alsways wanted to see Nine Inch Nails and Smashing Pumpkins, they are playing Reading this year. I've bought weekend tickets. Aug 24- 26

However, a really good friend has just infomred me his wedding is the Saturday 25 Aug.

Do I go to Reading to see Bands I've always wanted to, and risk annoying my mate, or do I go to the wedding and miss bands I've always wanted to see?

Or should I just buy tickets for Friday at Leeds and do about 700 Mile trip?

I did ask if he could move the wedding, though don't think he will

In truth I'll probably try to sell the Reading tickets, SeeTickets won't take them back, and I'll try to obtain some Leeds tickets.

Sod the wedding. They're boring and they'll probably be divorced in less than five years anyhow. Priorities, mate.

Not biased then in your vote ??

Personaly i'd go to the gig - the wedding will be on video.
I might be biased though as both me and my new partner are going through divorce's at the moment

Cheers, but I've been waiting a good few years to see Smasing Pumpkins, however, I did vow aa couple years back that I'd never go back as it was like Lord of the Flies in the campsite.

It looks more and more likely that I'll be trying to cathc the RHCP at Hampden on the Thursday, driving on to Leeds for the Friday to see NIN and Pumpkins, then back up the road for the Wedding on the Saturday.

Strange thing I've been to Reading with the Groom before. I've also been to Reading with the bridesmaid on several occasions.

I've found Reading is getting a little too chavvy. That's why I head north for Leeds, there seems to be a better crowd there.
