  • doin a Jotto

    for the last few weeks I have had numbness in my left hand so I went to the quacks and he sent me to a specialist Quack who says i need an operation on me hand.Its under local anaesthetic so I get to watch while they open up my hand.Anyway the outcome of all this is that after my op just like Jotto I get 6 weeks off.....

            sounds like carpel tunnel syndrome - had mine done, hurts like hell..agony...realy gives you gyp....... er (not realy!) hope you heal well (wiping yer bum can be a bit awkward though!!!!

                    not 'arf, if they didn't provide anything to hit them with!!

                    seriously, the discomfort is minimal it's the lack of abillity to use that is a pain, my only recomendation is to gently keep flexing the wrist to keep the scar tissue flexible

                        Hello mate, before you go for the surgery go and get a second opinion from an Osteopath, numbnes in the hand can be caused by nerve impingment in the neck. I know cause i fix it every day.

                            Sorry mate, just read this post, Carpel tunnel syndrome can be due to a bone in the hand called the Lunate dropping into the carpel tunnel, an osteopath can fix it by manipulating the hand.
