    Does anyone know about Toshiba laptops?

    I bought my Toshiba Equium last year (or a year ago or something) and every now and again, with no pattern, it bleeps for about a second. There is no obvious sign of something going wrong, no excess temp, no memory allocation errors, nuffink...just this random beep...any ideas???

    It's not causing any problems, it's just irritating, like your misses talking when Have I Got News for You is on....irritating.....

          I have Tosh laptop. Had problem with keyboard which meant it beeped on startup and occasionally in use. Letter E wouldn't work or jammed on. Not sure of a cure as it stopped happening and all seems fine again - for now!
          My other cars a QUAD
