  • Info on colour please

    Anyone know what the code is for the burgandy on my truck. can only make out 257 on the vin plate. Need to get some paint so i can spray the bonet scoop before i put it on. Thanks.

    It's 25T.

    Burgundy code is.........3J8-0

    Or, Prussian red pearl.

          The other code 3J8-0 is the colour.

          I've used a Ford burgundy over a red oxide primer from a Holts spray cans and it's a very close match too, depending on where you apply it. For something like a scoop it's OK but I wouln't touch-up a scratch with it.

                  from our local paint shop i got a touch up bottle in :-


                  toyota wine red 3j8

                  the grey is:-

                  toyota blue grey 179

                    All sorted now. Been to Halfords and got it mixed, also got etch primer and lacquer. Cost 28 squid. NOW to get on with it. Then its jigsaw time, that will be fun.lol Thanks for the info all.
