there is a US study that gives vehicles a cost per mile over its lifetime. Hummers come in at $1.42 (or similar) the average is $1.94 and a hybrid is in at $2.40 per mile. its the TOTAL lifetime cost from idea inception via design, modeling, proof, trial, manufacture, running costs, lifetime, max mileage, fuel costs, repairs, services and all the way to final demise....

Look at Landies and the like, 20-30 years old and older still going strong, same with our surfs. My old F reg Merc had 200K miles on the clock and still went strong.

Wonder how long a Prius will actually last!!!
If you're gonna be a bear... be a Grizzly.

As I understand it the answer is 8 years as that's what the battery life is and they cost £8000 to replace !

Of course this assumes that it doesn't get seriously bent first

I actually saw one on the M3 last week and noticed something that hasn't been mentioned at all - that car is 'KIN UGLY !

Life is too important to take seriously !
