just a quick question, can this black box be moved into the engine bay? as i have a full ball bar and don't want to alter the cross member to fit it.

also what does the box actually do?

That is the solanoid box and yes it can be mounted in the engine bay, mine is

You'll need to make up some new cables, I got some heavy duty arc welding earth cable and crimped some new ends on, its a lot cheaper that way
