Right I need a straight answer, TAX on 4X4's older that 2001 march.

Diesel car TC49

Cars registered on or after 1 March 2001 based on CO2 emissions and fuel type.

Please note: These rates apply only to cars that have been type approved within category M1 of Annex II to Council Directive 70/156/EEC and which have been registered on the basis of a type approval certificate that shows its carbon dioxide emissions level in terms of grams per kilometre driven.

How much does a 3ltr surf kick out and will I be stung?

Probley been answered loads of times but I can't get my head round it all
So please explane or post links.....

I think you will be stung £180.00

Surf comes under TC11 - well Hippo does

Look on your V5.

If it says PLG then it's £180

If it has an emissions rating, go online and find out what band you are in and how much it will cost you by looking here:

as long as your 3l was made before 2001 then you will pay the same as before which i think is about £190 or there abouts a year
