Which paint ?

ok i've finally made my mind up on a wheel and tyre package, the trouble is the 8 spoke steel wheels will be white and i want them black, whats the best paint to use ie long lasting rust resiliant etc, someone suggested to me the stuff you can use on truck beds as a liner as it's very tough

If you're buying them new, leave the tyres off the rims and get them powder coated. They'll last longer.

Also once painted - run a thin bead of clear silicone along the spoke-to-rim welded seams. Apparently that's where the rust first / most.

sounds like good advice - cheers guys, trouble with them getting supplied as seperate wheel and tire is i lose out on the free firring and balancing i've been offered!
