    ok, need some 33"s

33x12.5x15, cant seem to find that many. going for this size means that i wouldnt have to buy new rims.

33x12.5x16, bit more choice, but means that i have to buy new rims. Thats the next problem, you cant seem to get 16x8 rims ( steel).

spoke to mark at sowdens today (nice guy) he says that he will put 33x12.5x16 on a 16x7 rim but he would rather not.

i'm looking for the most aggresive tyre that i can get, as the surf is mainly a play thing now.

any thoughts, comments or suggestion would be great.

    cheers scotty

recip trial ade?? if you can find em tguk whatever their web address used to do them at good prices and they look nice to me.

try www.offroadmdg.co.uk for wheels, they do some serious tyres aswell but it depends how much you wanna spend, i wouldn't say they are the cheapest, but they're not extortionate either and very helpful.

ok, im now thinking of spending more money and getting a 15" tyre to fit the rims that i already have.

thinking of simex, but cant seem to get prices fom anywhere.

should be interesting when i do.

Why would you ever want to fit steel wheels? They are heavier and combined with a bigger tyres will add even more weight.

They also rust badly and look terrible in next to no time.
Mine WAS a 150 bhp V6 and ran on PETROL

I got marshall MT's from 4x4tyres.com. They do me fine off road and on road they seem fine as well. Only thing is when i hit a deepish puddle they tend to aquaplane easily, guess thats just cos the width of them.

I've got the steel rims, got them for nothing so cant complain, and a coat of hammerite sorts them out. They can take more abuse as well

i prefer steel wheels, basiclly if you bash or scuff them its no great loss.

smithy, are they the same tread pattern as the bfg's?

                          what width are your rims?

i may be off my nut, but i just fancy something really aggressive.

                          cheers scotty

meant to say, whats the score with drumclog?

and if your coming down mate, dont be shy on bringing me one of your rear bumpers and front guards, they do look good.

                          cheers

My rims are 10" wide with an off set i dont know. Wheels were on a hi lux pick up then on a trooper then on mine.

Mine are the one at the top of the list.

Did you make up a winch bracket?? I'm hopefully gonna make one up soon. Removed the plastic bottom section of front bumper ready for action.
