Afternoon all

Don't know if I'm right but according to the budget pre 2001 registered vehicles (most of us) won't be hit by increase in road tax.

That can't be right - can it??? (Gordon must be a surf fan)

Just spoken to DVLA and our surfs are going up by £5.00 only I am so happy I am going out to drive the nuts of it and take the $$$$ out of x5 and range rover owners

Vehicle Tax Confusion

As some off you know i own a 3rd gen 1996 surf.

NOW...this vehicle was manufactured in 1996 in japan.
BUT....It was first registered in the UK 11/12/2001..
Is mine going to fall foul of Gorden Browns £300/£400 Banding and if so
In bad need of knowing other wise surf as to go..
please help with my confusion...

mine was reg 2003 no need to worry its manafactured date
