A very good read. Global climate change is a big interest of mine and looking out the window right now (a blizzard) I would say what global warming. Although I do agree the planet is warming, but not for the reasons we are having forced down our throats.
Good find had a good read and its very interesting. gives me more info to tell people who tell me my truck is a polluter! i am always open mined to new ideas but when they are formed on bull sh*t i like to be able to argue my case.
Its a shame most of the population are either stupid, are fat cats or have their heads up their asses to make use of the information available. cos together we can make a difference if enough people stick together there is not much that can't be achieved!
I've always argued that its just a natural variation issue - these facts will help bolster it. At the end of the day - as usual- its all down to money grabbing politicians and their cronies - what a surprise
While I'm inclined to agree that global warming is just another money making scheme (albeit on a grand scale) there's precious little hard evidence within that link.
The trouble with the internet is that anybody can post anything and there will always be an audience that believes it ........
Bit similar to what they were saying on TV the other day, called THE GLOBAL WARNING SWINDLE, i think.
The interesting thing about the program to me was that it wasn't a load of hippy types discussing climate change, but eminent scientists from MIT etc.
I for one, am becoming really angry, as it seeems its the private individual, who is paying for this.
How many coal and oil fired large manufacturers, steel etc, are in use everywhere. These are the people who should be made to change their fuels to a more enviromental one.
Also re car emissions, simplest thing would be to ban the mamufacture of all cars over a certain size, 2ltr for example, but not expect people like you and i, to sell our Surfs, which on average are 10 years old and still going. I for one can not afford a new car, so am i expected to go without.
NO CHANCE, NOT WHILE ITS STILL CHEAPER TO DRIVE 3Ltr SURF to BIRMINGHAM and BACK, THAN GO ON THE TRAIN.
RANT OVER.
Did I mentipon i have a broken leg !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The majority of a cars 'carbon footprint' occurs during it's manufacture. Fact. Therefore it is greener to continue to run an old (well serviced) vehicle as long as you can than to buy a new Prius.
However, that's no good for govt tax dollar! They get a lot from every new car sold, and can then tax you to hell on use of *NEW* cars, but not older ones.
