new springs

  • new springs

    are milners springs sided ( 20% upratted ) ? as i fitted mine at the weekend and it was down on the o/s about 10 mil.
    both springs the same lenth and no markings on them so i just fitted them .
    i got it sort of level by tweeking the toursion bars .

    The standard springs from Toyota are 'handed', the longer spring goes on the drivers side, dunno about Milners.

      Seems normal enough. Just about everybodies is a bit low on the O/S without some tweaking.

          i dont think they are sided as my cruiser springs weren't either and i found i had to tweak the off side t/bar a bit more than the n/side for it to sit more level

              I'd always assumed it was me being a porker that made the drivers side lower.

                Possibly , plus the weight of the fuel in the tank too!

                  as i lifted the o/s on the toursion bar the n/s/ lifted with it so i had to lower the n/s one a bit so all four wheel archs are now just over 3 foot give or take a bit .
                  looks loads better

                    once mine had settled the off side was about 1"lower till i done the front end and now she sits lovely

                      still i made the boss run out when i compresed the spring under a four post ramp so i could get the spring compresors on
                      the old ways are best
