    Flood Patrol today....

    ....Churchover Ford Rugby, Warks....drove past at lunch time for a look.Someone had a disaster there on Sunday- Pugeot 106 tried to go through at 3+ feet! The water here flows very fast (it's called the river Swift for a reason!). The car got swept off the road and is now wedged against the footbridge.

    What is wrong with these people? Darwin was right-natural selection is at work all around us.....

    I'm going back out on flood patrol later as the local ford (Ofchurch) looked about a foot or so and rising at tea time.

                now i feel REALLY stupid.

                However, the Sub is now back on the road, its working better than it ever did after its little dip.

                I need to pluck up courage and do the ford again but slower this time.

                At least I tried a ford that technically the surf should have coped with. Driver incompetence was the downside.

                      We almost went down there at the weekend, but went over to Bucklebury instead, it was at 2' according to the depth post, so we had a little play in it in the Bullet.
