      How can bad fuel 'break' the Lambda sensor????

      Sounds like garages are fleecing the public, I'd have thought drain the fuel, maybe reset the ECU, and off you go.

        Bad / old fuel will toast the lambda and kill the cat while most on board putirs will post tripe error 19 code "airflow" (car lies for ?????)

        If you bought some of this pish sell your car NOW! Its fukked.

          we had a customer a few years back had some bad fuel from morrisons ,
          it almost went to jelly in the tank,we cleaned it out and changed the filter and all was good with a few gallon of good petrol , only to see her back the next day
          she had gone back to morrisons to fill up after we told her not to
          i bust things ,, it a skill i have ,,( need help?)

            If the fuel in our trucks turns out to be contaminated, I'm never eating in the pub anymore!!!

                    No Oxygen sensor in my Defender, so no worries with mine. It's getting low though, so will go to BP to fill her up.

                            Aint seen any of this up here yet but I will take any bets that 90%+ of these cars are French error 19's. Real cars dont care and the best stink of chips
