Has the pulley on the camshaft got a notch in it so that the cam pulley can only be fitted one way??

I think there is a slight taper and keyway so the pully can only go one way...... But i've slept since I did my head

Excellent.

When the weather finally lets me do the job, I will be a little less worried about starting it up after all the works done.

Don't you just hate that feeling after a big job on the engine. Getting in the drivers side and praying before turning the key!!!
