    hello chaps can anybody tell me what the fluid is that is dropping onto my passenger side front matt,it seems to be coming from under the glove comp but not sure yet cheers.

        Probably a leaking heater matrix. How's your coolant level?

                doesnt really smell of anything but is thickish like oil and seems clear .

                    is that a serious problem matt,i know my a/c compressor is paggered and ive got a good one to put in there but will the leak do any long term damage.

                      Nope, no damage. The A/C won't work if you're low on gas, or if there's a pressure leak. You'll need to get the leak sorted, though. Just under the fuel filter in the engine bay are two pipes going through the bulkhead. They go to the aircon gubbins behind the glovebox.
