  • Whats in your s$$$$pers??

Anyone clambering about the s$$$$pers recently noticed any 3rd Gens in for breaking. I'm desperately in need of some to replace OSF damage to mine. Piccies of damage attached.
Does anyone know if the same landing frame (holds the lights and radiators in place) is used on the RZN and KZN models?
Just started stripping down the damage so will try and post any useful photos as more and more 'falls off'

    cheers, scuddy

Ive never seen a 3rd gen in a s c r a pyard nor on ebay either!! Have you got a quote for parts off toyota?

The worse thing is they are still at the price point where you cant find one cheap to take bits off or just buy a new one!

Finding a third gen in a normal scr@pyard will be like trying to find rocking horse $hit.

Did you find out if any of the panels were the same as any of the pickups?

I would reccommend a new front panel , as they are welded in . Trying to 'unpick' a 2nd hand from a breaker could be tricky , but possible . Does not look to bad damage from the pics . The front panel being the worst bit to replace .

                        afternoon m8

don't think you need to worry about new panels - can;t you buff it out!!!

Just kidding - I know it no use where you are but Toll bar breakers (posh name is now: Doncaster Motor Spares) has a 3rd gen in with no engine and a buckled roof but the front looks OK - AND IT'S BLUE

could try their website (tried to put a link on but I'm useless at that kind of thing)

                        hope this helps
