Reading the earlier thread Vince where people were saying about stopping the window in other positions apart from up or down, surely you could work out a way of wiring it the same way that the drivers window works in that you move the switch slightly and you can stop the window where you want, or push the switch fully to totally wind the window up or down.

This should work the opposite way, I think. One push for complete up/down, with a second pust to stop it inbetween.
The box of gubbins is ready now then Vince. Didn't have one of the bits, so had to chuck in a different type, but seems close enough on spec that it should work. Might be worthwhile brainpicking Apache on that one, though. He's the FET specialist. All it's for is that one of the boards is missing the FET. The other two have them.
I'll have you know, I can cover the whole country, and parts of germany too, under the right circumstances....
I may however be about to (yikes) spend some money....
