Well, just started to take my engine apart. Have got as far as the air hose (air cleaner to Turbo), throttle and cruise control cables disconnected, and that's it. Started to bl00dy rain. Why is it in this poxy country, every time you need to do something it rains???
Problem No1. The top clamp that holds all the throttle and cruise cables above the rocker cover and is bolted to the head. The bolt was seized into the head. While undoing it has snapped off in the head. I'm not too worried as I might need a head replacement. BUT if it's just the head gasket then I've got problems....
Why don't they ever smear everything with grease so that it comes apart easily??
