Well the big expensive train horns arrived from the states this mornin. Signed for them, unpacked them, only to find the longest of the three trumpets was broken away completely from the main housing. Bugga, anyway set it all up and bench tested in the garage and .............well to put it bluntly............FCUK me, they're painful. Stupidly i left the roller shutter down and pressed the trigger. Everything in the garage shook and my hearing is still asking me why i did it. The loudest noise i have ever made and it nearly killed me.

I called seige engineering this afternoon and they've sent another unit out at no cost so should be gettin them next week sometime, so all is not lost. They really are a helpful lot and i'll end up with two sets of train horns. So if i can fix the buggered one..........Twice as loud
