i use fully synthetic oil in my engine, and i change the oil and filter every 4000 miles,i get paranoid and i find myself sifting through the bowl of oil to see whats sort of particles are floating around in it.
i see that dictionary is paying for itself allready then woodnhead.
Saying that, however, did anyone happen to notice that someone has created himself another login, and called himself Woodenhead? The muppet got his own name wrong.

the longer service periods have been brought in to appease the lease people, at the end of the day the majority of new motors are leased and these companys can save money on servicing. 30000 mile oil services are in my mind, a total false economy. fully synth oil is better on a new engine than dino, but its not a magic ever lasting liquid.
dump the oil at max 10,000 miles. its a small cost, large saving.
No definately an Isuzu. I saw loads in the USA, with bigger engines of course but that is to be expected. The sport has the 2-0 engine and as mine is an early example only eight valves but performance isn't bad and overall a sound vehicle. The Montery too was Isuzu. Both Vauxhall and Isuzu are GM so parts are from teh same bin (no jokes about rubbish bin please)
