ty to bushwacker the idea of what was wrong with my rear window motor bits well the weekend came i not got a chance to look until sunday morn so i removed the motor did what u said and the thing still didnt work so i took the cover off again then refitted the motor flicked the switch and the sur clip flew off any had a good look at and the prob was that the clip was not setting right after a real good clean found that the clip had no grove for it to really sit in thought of going to a s$$$$py to see if i could get the inner pin with the toothed cog but thought it might just happin an a few months with another so i went all out and order a whole new motor from roughtrax cost £160.00 all in so now just waiting for the moror to arrive been told it will be here tomorrow so will either fit tommorrow evening or wait to my lunch break wednesday. well ty again bush i would not have had a clue where to start just gutted it wasnt what we hoped it was

Thank you to Bushwacker for the idea of what was wrong with my rear window motor. Well the weekend came, but I did not get a chance to look until sunday morn.
So I removed the motor, did what you said and the thing still didn't work. So I took the cover off again, refitted the motor, flicked the switch and the circlip flew off! Anyway, had a good look at and the probrem was that the clip was not seating properly.
After a real good clean I found that the shaft had no groove for it for the circlip to sit in. Thought of going to a s$$$$py to see if I could get the inner pin with the toothed cog, but thought it might just happen again in a few months so I went all out and ordered a whole new motor from Roughtrax, cost £160.00 all in, so now just waiting for the motor to arrive. Been told it will be here tomorrow so will either fit tommorrow evening or wait to my lunch break on wednesday.
