    Oh well, stripped the bottom end today, crank and no2 conrod totally FUBARED, Bearing shell welded to the crank and conrod.
    New engine required, oh and by the way need another new turbo as well.
    If it aint broke dont fix it

          Might not be a dead loss, Linda's crank had to be reground faintly over max spec to get it smooth, but we rebuilt it with a used con-rod from stevo, he re-ground the crank and we replaced all the mains and big ends, new rings and she's been great since.

          It just happens, you don't know how the previous owner treated the motor, oil changes, over rev, etc.....
