beeping back door

i need to service all the workings in the back door of me gen 2 surf, i lay the door down and push the door catchs to fool the back window in to sliding up, but it just beeps at me, any clues, is it to do with the rear interior light switch? where is the pin switch located? is it a pin switch?

any clues would be gratefully recieved.

have you got a rear mounted spare,if so it may be that has a alarm on it to say it aint shut

When I tried this the other week
I'd only tripped each catch one click each, they go Two positions to fool it completely
