off topic BMW keys

Apparently security keys from BMW dealers are approx £100.00, does anybody out there know of a cheaper supplier, the keys need to be programmed etc and the vehicle VIN number has to be supplied. Or if i buy a second hand key of fleabay can it be reprogrammed.

That sounds about right for a modern car key, if after 1998 the codes are rolling so the ecu will need programing .
