new hilux engine into surf

hello, one of the lads at work has rolled one of our company hilux crew cabs, we are our own underwriters and so wont claim for it, i was wondering about pilfering, i mean buying the engine for the surf, will it fit or more importantly how much of an impossability will it be.

Depends what motor it is, if it a 2.4 2L the basic engine should fit fine. Ifs its EFI or yours is and it isn't you'll need your fuel pump and stuff.

right had a look at the truck, the sump has been ripped off it, plenty of sh1t inside engine, can i just fit the head to my block, them both being 2.4 and would this then cure my worries over the failing head problems.
