Load Area Light

Gent's, my light in the boot has packed in. I have changed the bulb but it's still not playing. Is there a fuse or something simple to check to get it going again? I don't want to be taking out panels for such a small light.

Can you turn it on manually by the switch, or is it not working at all?

The switch does nothing but I just went out in it and when I opened the door the light came on. Should it not come on with the door up with the switch?

Could be just the contacts in the switch, if not the tail gate switch

Clean the switch contacts.

my boot light only comes on when i open the boot! might be cos i got an aging (but lovely) surf!
