If Apache ain't got a big one, I'll pop one off for you. Relay wise, though, I think he has a lifetime supply now.

Why do you need 2 x 30? What wattage are your roof lights?Cutting steps in the roof of the world

Originally posted by ian619I've wired one pair of lights to one 30amp, bulbs are 50 watt (?) each light but wanted the relay higher in case i changed em for 100's, this was the idea on the front light's but doubt il be able to do the same to the roof ones so what'd ya think? will one relay do all four? and dont forget i may get another pair for the roof, so that would be 3 x 50watt per 30amp relay
You are currently (no pun intended) looking at around 18A TOTAL for your lights if you are running 4 x 55w. I'm not sure I'd go for 130w in the roof lights unless you want to be dazzled by your own bonnet! The 55w I have are bad enough - must move the bar back a bit!
I have a 70A which might suit your horns but probably well over specced, but as you dont know what the current draw is, probably better to errr on the side of caution.
Personally, unless you want to switch the pairs of lights independently, I'd run them all through your single 30A, or if you want to run them as pairs, run the other pair via the 40A I'll send. This combo will also be fine for 130W lamps.
Alternatively, I can give you 2 x 70A if Matt has made you really paranoid - but be aware, it can be as bad to overspec by a long way as contacts will tarnish and become unreliable.
PM me your address and I'll get em in the post.Cutting steps in the roof of the world
