I can't be bothered with cleaning my truck myself. Just got back from a car wash, and had a light wax too. The burgundy over grey looks very shiny now. Now to ask would anyone like a hiarcut? Just to pre-empt the hairdresser jibes
Glad I double checked. I'd have dropped a right b***ock there. Is it best to get one of those polishers/buffers for the UDS then?
I've been polishing my truck just using clean polishing cloths up until now. I used a buffer on it the first time the other day (as you know, I got one off the girlfriend for my birthday).
I have to say, the shine was very good using a buffer. I used a towl type buffing pad to get the polish off, then went over it again using a lambs wool pad. This got the whole truck looking VERY shiney.
You can use a cloth, but it just takes longer to do.
Since owning my truck I've used a whole LARGE container of Super Resin Polish and two smaller containers of Ultra Deep Shine.
The shine is definitely better with a buffer.
When it has rained all the water sits in droplets on the bonnet. Give it 15mph and the whole lot just flows off.....
no put it on with a spray bottle and rubbed a bit with a rag got get some of it tho good stuff cleans surf well
Bugger. Ball bearing moment number two. I completely missed the 'general purpose cleaner' on the end of that sentence. I might as well call it a day before I put my foot in it.
