MG B Oil Cooler

I had a chat with a guy at work today, dark horse that he is - used to have a bunch of MGs (still has an MG-F but that doesn't count).

He told me that it was intercooled, using 2 small oil coolers - so he is going to see if he can get me a coulple, so I'm going to see if I can fit them into the Surf....as there are two and they are small, I can put one in one place, the other in, erm another....

Any experience with these, and is this a dumb idea???

an oil cooler won't work as an intercooler cos the pipe work is far too small.

Thats what i was thinking, the intake on a 3.0 is 70mm dia, oil coolers are about 8mm!!
