are landcruisers heavier at back than surf/4runners ?
fed up with the light back end of the 4runner!

I went out for nordic ski this afternoon, 3" of lovely snow just up road from home.
on way back I was going down a hill in 1st, in high 4x4, foot off the gas, crawiling along at walking speed, when a white van rounds the corner at a bit of speed in front of me,
I touched brakes and wholeback end of 4runner swings round in front of him, luckily he managed to move out of way!
black ice under the snow, not sure what i could have done differently, other than go in low range 1st!

i was on my way to get some chicken and dog food, so have left all 100kg in the boot for now!!!

Unless you were in something heavy enough to literally crush the ice, nothing will have traction/grip on that surface.

It was a very chilly -9 in Didcot this morning. Looks like we are bang in the middle of the "promised" snow. I'm off work tomorrow, so don't have to drive to work in it, but have to go to Datchet tomorrow evening. So Lets have it!!!

                                I am seriously hacked off!

I am working in North Wales at the mo, with road tyres on. I will be travelling home tomorrow night.

Over the hills south of Newtown, over the hills to Brecon and yup - over the hills to Neath and beyond.

If it snows I'll be seeing some.

And my chunky 33'' tyres are in my garage - aaarrrggghhh

                                BWWWWWAAAAAA.................
