Great film, sfx a bit lame compared to modern stuff but a classic none the less.

Watched the origional the other week, it was very dated but still good for the 1950's

Me too. Must admit, though, I do actually prefer the original. Seems to have more atmosphere.

I liked the sfx when they threw petrol over the thing in a wooden shack, that was more scary for the people than the monster.

Health & safety would have a field day if you tried that nower days.
