Hard/Soft Suspension

Has anyone ever seen a surf that has had the standard hard/soft shocks removed and just had standard Toyota shocks fitted.The hard/soft switch has also been taken out and the hole blanked off and there is no sign of any wiring either.This was like it when it was first imported.This is a truck that belongs to someone else perhaps new forum member soon but thought i might just ask as all the surfs that i know off have the adjustable shocks or have had uprated shocks for lifts etc

4Runner shocks are non-adjustable. I've also seen quite a few really late 2nd gens (M/N reg) that don't have the adjustable option.

Mines a 94 L and doesnt have any of the hard soft stuff and no evidence that it ever has.
