I can see what the problem is! There is'nt anyone supervising!
Probably would have gone much smoother if there were someone in a nice comfy chair with a cup of tea, cigarette and of course some serious reference material.... Loaded or similar springs to mind. Oh, oh, oh I forgot the bacon butty.
Top pick!
Hi all - just been to work for half shift!!
SECRET - Quite easy really. set up camera on tripod and adjust zoom to include all areas i want to be in shot.
set camera to take braketed exposures -1.5,-1,-.5,0,+.5, +1.0 and +1.5 - of each position - just to ensure lighting can be repeated in each shot.
then using remote control - take sets of pictures in each position with focus locked one one area - being carefull not to stand infrom of myself (for ease of processing)
then review all sets of pictures to collect one of each set with similar exposure (lightness)
using the one with me furthest away as a background, began cutting myself out of each subsequent pictures and pasting onto background.
a little jiggerey pokerey with blending and defringeing and bobs your uncle.
photography - about one hour (over 70 shots in total)
processing - about 1 and a half hours.
Have ago yourself - good fun.
I should really get a hobby!!!
