Someone's been on the grumpy flakes again I see. Well, what's wrong with it is:
1. It is VERY yellow indeed.
2. The headlights look ridiculous.
3. The grille looks ridiculous.
4. The side steps look ridiculous.
5. It's got two aerials sticking out of the roof, which looks ridiculous.
6. It's been de-badged so the back also looks ridiculous.
7. It has a dustbin on the end of the exhaust.
8. It has some horrible looking front valance thing.
9. The telly doesn't work.
10. It has been owned by more than one person who didn't mind having a yellow car. God knows what else they've done to it.
It would cost thousands to put all of that right. And besides, yes, I do include colour when I make a decision on a vehicle. I certainly wouldn't drive around in one of those foul maroon and grey ones.........
Apart from that though, what'd ya really think of it?
Got this pic the other day, its nearly purple, do you like that colour?
I like the 3rd gen, if you wanted a large estate that looked nice rather than a 4wd to go offroad. I bet it does turn some heads. There's a few things that need changing on it but overall it's not too bad
So with the front grill cut out to make it bigger, a nice bonnet vent (forward facing central scoop, and cut out louvres at the sides), different steps, new alloys or even some nice black steels, a rear spoiler and rebadged rear end, possibly with a chrome number plate surround aswell to break up the yellow, i think it'd actually look quite nice.
I liked it. The colour would have to go though, nothing against yellow as I have owned a couple of yellow cars but I think this would be better in dark metallic blue. As for the grill, ok on the 3rd generation and I like the twin lights. I have seen this set up ona shogun sport and it looked good.
Still not as nice though as a second gen in burgundy and grey, definately the best colour for the second generation.
