five runner

Does anyone know what a Toyota five runner is ?
Is it the same as a 3rd gen Surf ?
Needed a new battery and the local autopart shop found a five runner in the book.
Battery size [ l x h x w ] are almost identical.
It is a 70AH battery.
Does this sound right ?

Hi l know of a "SR5" which is the AMERICAN version of the SURF l saw loads of them when l was in Florida last year.

SR5 is a trim level of the 4Runner (and other Toy trucks), just like SSR-V, SSR-X etc on the Surf.

s runner / sr5

lived in the states for most of my life and i think you will find
the s in s runner stands for sport and the sr5 is a standard 4 runner
with the manual 5 speed box

Alot of Toyota Hilux utes are called SR-5 here in New Zealand. Seems to refer to a slightly sportier model.

In Japan, they have a "Sports Runner" version of the Surf. You don`t want any part of one, they`re big nancy..
