Maybe. There is worse though, if the crank slaps the oil at high revs, it could break. Drain the excess.

Don't worry about it, they need 6 to 7 letres anyway, a little bit over wont do any harm.

i changed my oil filter and oil and it took about 61/2 l to fill it again

drained a bit, put a bit back in, seems to be the right level now, and a little quieter too

i thought they are 7l with filter?
i always do 5l then run for 1min then fill 1l and check, then fill 1l and check and its usually spot on.

I hope so i just spent well over a hundred quid on fluids and filters, i coulda saved �25 if only need 5litres.

Six minimum. Usually around the 7 litre mark.
