  • GREENWAY ANACONDA's

    http://www.sowdentyres.co.uk/greenway-tyres.html

fancy a set of these, the only thing is the size that they come in.

they are 16" for starters, so does that mean going to a set of cruiser wheels.

265/75/16 = 31.6x10.4x16 does this sound about right to you guys.

i was after a set of 32,s or 33's. i really like the tread pattern of these tyres, they look very aggressive, and the price is good as well.

anybody got any inside info, is it possible to get these in 15", or is there any other tread pattern similar that comes in 15".

    cheers scotty

apache, cheers but according to them its only 16s
          ANACONDA 20mm TREAD
          235 / 85 R16 K £ 63.00
          265 / 75 R16 K £ 63.00

i would settle for those insa torbo speciel tracks as well , but as usual, they only come in 16s.

the reason i would prefer 15s is that i wouldnt have to buy new wheels, just tyres.

          cheers folks scotty

How many? If you got 5, can I buy one off you?

                <edit> Doh, only 4.

You don`t find many 33" tyres for 15" rims, and belive me i`ve tried, this is all i`ve been looking at the past week.

A good website for looking at wheel and tyre combo`s is this

                  http://www.4x4tyres.com/

When i was on this website at work, you could click on the Select Vehicle type tab,and after you`d sorted that out it took you to a page which was just rims.Select your rim, then it took you to a page with all the tyres that are suitable for that rim.

Now at home, when i select the same tab i just get 3 rims for a Porsche Cayenne, so don`t know what`s going on

My mate at the local tyre branch is getting in some Kumho 834 Mt, 33/1250/15`s for me to have a look at.Around £60 a corner and not a remould(Before anyone say`s anything i know remould technology is better than it used to be)
Idealy i would have liked the Greenway Macho 33`s, but don`t have the brass for any new rims at the moment

I wouldn't run Anaconda's on the road coz the tread is very aggressive - there wouldn't be much road holding and they would wear down quickly.

I've got a set of 33' Machos on steel rims. I only fit them when off roading coz they use so much more fuel and are slippery on the road. Excellent off road to though.

Check out some of the threads in the tyres section.

                      cheers folks.

can someone clarify that my sizes are correct

                      265/75/16 = 31.6x10.4x16

just cant get my head round imperial to metric.

another thing, you cant seem to get 16x 8 steel wheels. they all seem to be 16x7's..

                      cheers scotty
