it depends on the carpark height restrictions really
but i got a 5" lift on mine but down here i don't need to go into low car parks

        now that looks like fun

im not overly worried about general car parks, just low entrance barriers to access my local kiting field!!

which takes me to something else...
is there enough room inside to fit a 156cm snowboard, a mountainboard and possibly a mountain bike????

          Hello mate, and welcome!

Lift it as much as you dare, and find a new place to park.

Drop the seats and you can stretch out and sleep in there!

I've transported bikes, 2m RC gliders, loads of DIY materials. So the answer is probably yes!

You can get any snowboard up to a 164 diagonally across the boot with the seats up. You can get bigger in if you angle it up/down at the front. A bike fits in easy with the seats down. Never tried with the seats up. I don't know what a mountainboard is. You should be alright on height unless you have a totally insane lift.

Just buy an full alloy roof rack, then strap everything to that. Remember a 2nd gen Surf is the pick-up with a roof on. So lay the seats flat and you have the same room except it has a roof on.
