Failed MOT

Truck failed MOT today

Two bulbs and emissions

Managed to change the bulbs,one rear number plate one and nearside break light,really tested my mechanical know how

Emissions? I've got a full tank of diesel for a change ,so chucked a bottle of redex in,do i need to use it all up now to get it through the system???

Also took the wee pipe off the EGR Valve and folded it over and cable tied it up. Should the two combined sort the problem???

empty the tank and try 50/50 with veg oil

mine flew the emissions with 50/50 veg and about half a litre of petrol, good luck with annual dentists appointment!

We use Forte fuel addative, it might be the most expensive on the market but never had a failure due to reek, aprox three MOT per week

Managed to obtain some Forte from work so slung that in as well

Trucks going back in on Thursday,so hopefully fighting fit for the weekends off roading
