  • I'm still here, and i got a new Job!!!!!

    eh up,

not posted for ages following the sad loss of my Surf, though i have been lurking in the shadows (mostly in the jokes section if i'm honest).

Just thought I'd share the news of my new job!

I have now left the warm and cosy office life, to pursue a career in car mechanics. Somehow landed a job working mainly on Lotus Elise's and track day cars! Plus supporting an MX5 race team during the summer, so will be camping at various tracks throughout the year and calling it work!

So if you know anyone who wants a bit more power out of their Lotus Elise, send it down to us and we'll stick a 220bhp honda type-r engine in!

    cheers,

    Martin
Just trying to raise my postcount!

Well done and good for you!

My time is now spent mainly in the office when once I'd get my hands dirty with alsorts of cutting edge military hardware.

I'm looking for a way out too. Hopeful still of a new job working on tanks and such like.

Can't Lotus engines be 'tweaked' then?

The mitsi is going great thanks! $$$$ fuel economy, but it goes like sh!t off a shovel!

the standard lotus engines are rover k series ones and only good for 150bhp or so, but stick a honda civic type-r engine in and you start with 220bhp. Then fit a supercharger to that and your talking 300bhp plus. not bad for a car weighing less than a ton!
