    Dont agree, sorry.

I'm a tax payer and have been for 22 years. The NHS allows everybody the basic human right of medical care.

    Whats next?

Check a gay persons credit card before you treat them? They are more at risk of certain diseases than me. Why should I pay for their treatment through my taxes?

What about a cyclist who gets injured in a crash? It's his own bl00dy fault for riding a bike! Why should I pay for the his treatment? He could have chosen safer transport.

What about the chap in the wheelchair who broke his back when he fell whilst mountain climbing? That was his stupid fault! Why should I pay?

See, it's starting to get a bit distasteful now isn't it? I like our system. It's a levl playing field. If you need it for WHATEVER reason, it should be there for you.

Not at all offended. Just finding this becoming a general attitude with a lot of people regarding everything that isn't in their area of interest, these days. It bugs me for the simple fact that life is made awkward enough by the people who do have control. The fact that the general populous are becoming so self obsessed with themselves makes it no better. Seriously, though, the facts and figures that are constantly rammed down our throats are pure fiction. I'd be surprised if one GBP sterling of the tax you pay each year went towards treating someone with a weight disorder. The true thieves are the local councils and higher Government, whom squander and thieve like there is no tomorrow.

BTW, I'm a rake, weight wise, just in case you were wondering. Scoff to my hearts content and never gain an inch.

It's a nice thought if all my taxes went just on me. Probably be a lot less than I'm paying now. However, the sh*t hit the fan for my dad in the form of MS when he was about 50, and it could happen to any one of us. It's nice to know that safety net is there for all. If you were struck by such an illness, all the tax you'd payed in your lifetime wouldn't be enough to pay for your care. It's worth remembering.

But I like your gold truck, just get it lifted, some big chunky tyres on polished alloys and black-out the glass and it would look blummin' awesome!

p.s. this is not chatting you up, it's just my opinion.

Funny that, I've put on at least a stone and a half since I got married 9.5 years ago and I'm now very close to you in weight (too many mince pies over Xmas). Must lose some this year.
