hi im new here i was wondering if the lpg conversoin would work on a surf not petrol. i have someone looking for a surf in japan for me at the moment but am looking at modding it when it arrives here

Lpg conversions are for petrol engines only. With a diesel, you can use lpg fumigation for a bit of extra power, but that's all.

As Matt says, you can run an LPG diesel mix, but as it would probably cost in region of £1500 it will take you a long time before you see any profit. Take the veg route to cheaper and more enviromental motoring.
