Unable To Post To Forum

A couple of days ago I changed my email addy in my profile, logged off and shut down the laptop.

I logged in next morning and tried to post to the forum but got this message -

kameeleon, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I couldn't email anyone for the same reason. Finally, tonight, as a last resort I changed my email back to the previous one and hey presto I was up and running again. Any idea what happened? DOHHHH!!!!!!!!! I just realised what happened. I never got confirmation email about my email address change - stupid boy!!!!!!!!!

I did manage to post to toyota@hiluxsurf.co.uk for advice but never recieved a reply. Are the administrators on holiday? Before I get any wry comments this is a genuine question not a snide dig at anyone. I also realise that the admins give up a lot of their spare time to run this forum I just wondered why I had no reply.

Koi has been having a few email problems lately, and he is working odd shifts so this could be why you have had no reply.

Koi has been just a tad bogged down with e-mails of late, hence some delay.
