Muppet. Get rid of the .jpg file extension.

And the fact that it is actually a jpeg. Double muppet. You have used an image of the gif, not the actual gif.

It animates if do 'open with' - 'Internet Explorer', and the properties when I click on it dont have .jpg extension.

I've been trying to upload an animated gif as my avator, but it dont move once its uploaded even though I have it saved on my pc as a gif and it works when I click on the file on my pc. Why?

I just checked the link to the pic on my computer at the point you upload it. It has a .gif extension so the site must be changing it to a .jpg
