2.4 it went pop,and as i have been driving a rover something??? and driving a CAR!! is worse than i could ever imagine,

V8 (oil burner) all wheel drive (3rd gen gear box)
as one thing i have always hated about the 2.4 gear box is 3000 rpm at 70mph (3 ltr surf do better 2500rpm i think someone said)
and if i want to up the gear box all wheel drive seems a fair enough swap

Only major flaw in this plan is that the front drive shaft output is on the opposite side to the 2nd Gen, so no way it will line you with your front axle.
